They informed us if we don't take the food not to bother ordering from them again!!! Rudely!
Best Pizza around. Not the greasy Greek pizza we've grown accustomed to around here. This is legit New York style pie. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and take pride in their work. The Turkey club was sooo good. Lot's of meat on the sandwich and the bread was perfectly toasted. Their hamburgers are awesome too.
I'm sorry...but that was terrible customer service! And to force me to pay 30 dollars for food that had been sitting there on the warmer for God knows how long...and knowing it had been far over an hour...then being told it'd be another half hour at least...and somehow showing up 5 minutes later. Expecting us to buy the food..and what..cancel from the other place? Who would be ready 1 hour sooner?
We like the pizza, a sweeter scauce then most. Not to greasy and fresh crusg. very friendly folks who run it.

Smitty's pizza is almost like a Chicago Deep Dish but still a pan pizza. The dough is good. Not too doughy, the right amount of crisp. Cheese and pepperoni are both decent quality. Sauce is robust and sweet -- like a good Italian marinara should be. If you're looking for a hearty, flavorful pizza, this is definitely a good choice.
Trust me. The only reason we...and most people go there...is because it's the only local restaurant in this town.
They could have offered some sort of discount or threw in a soda or something frivolous to try and sweeten the deal...after the first couple phone calls wondering where our food was...instead we got the rude...probably already half in the bag treatment.
Great food and good service. Pizza, grinders, salads and fried foods, I loved the hand cut fries and the friendly wait staff! If you like pizza parlor food, you will love this restaurant! Right across from the oldest continously operating post office in the nation..
So we questioned...stunned that that was the reply. So they yelled it ...and then hung up on us! So I called to speak to one of the owners! She also was also rude! And informed me it hadn't been over an hour! And not to come back again because that was over 30 dollars of food gone to waste! Meantime...all I can hear in the background is the other owner...no doubt drunk off his a** ...yelling it doesn't fu**ing matter! Hang up! ...Repeatedly !
I ordered my food at 540...requested delivery,but offered to come pick it up if it'd be faster. Was told it'd be 40 minutes either way. 630 rolls around, so we call them and they said it should be there in no time. 640...still no food. So we call back to make sure they have the right address. They informed us our food hasn't gone out yet....they got slammed. It would be another half hour - 40 minutes. So considering we have 3 screaming hungry toddlers. We decided to cancel the order. We ordered Chinese food. Of which would be ready in 10 minutes! Awesome! 5 minutes later...we get a phone call that our food is outside. We've already canceled and ordered elsewhere. Sorry after already waiting over an hour...
